The ECIS 2024 Industry Forum brings together information systems scholars and practitioners from the private and public sectors. Several showcase examples will be presented to stimulate debate around hot topics related to the relationships between digital transformation and sustainable development as well as the necessary measures to ensure mutually beneficial co-creation between practice and academia. The Industry Forum will focus on the conference theme “people first” and will present examples of enabling people to co-create with digital technology, including models of humans-AI joint problem-solving systems.
